Arthur Rodrigo Ronconi Holand, MD

Arthur R. R. Holand, MD is a general surgeon who earned his medical degree from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA), Brazil. He completed his surgical training at the University of Florida (UF) and Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).

He is certified in robotic surgery and highly skilled in endoscopic, minimally invasive, gastrointestinal, and abdominal wall reconstruction procedures. His clinical expertise also encompasses a broad range of conditions including reflux, thyroid nodules/cancer, gallstones, colorectal cancer, and complex hernia surgery. 
Dr. Holand is an active member of leading professional societies, including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Hernia Society (AHS), Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons (SLS), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). As Chief Resident, he was recognized with the LVHN Chief Resident Education Award for his exemplary leadership in surgical education and dedication to mentoring the next generation of surgeons.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Holand values time with family and enjoys a wide range of personal interests, including beach activities, hiking, fishing, Formula 1 racing, and active participation in his church community. 
A native Portuguese speaker, he is fluent in English and conversant in German and Spanish.
