About the Provider

Anurag Mehta, MD is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in preventive cardiology, lipid disorders including lipoprotein(a), cardiometabolic risk reduction, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He recently joined Emory as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and sees patients at Clifton Road and Executive Park locations. Dr. Mehta completed his cardiology fellowship training at Emory and his research spans preventive cardiology, cardiometabolic diseases, lipidology, and global health, with over 130 peer-reviewed publications. He is accepting new patients and welcomes referrals for complex dyslipidemia, premature cardiovascular disease, and cardiometabolic risk assessment.
