Angela Hatcher, PA

Before procedure, Angela Thompson gave me a very detailed explanation of the biopsy procedure. She described potential pain sources and asked if I wanted to change from local to medicated procedure. I chose to stay with local pain medication. Angela played music and performed procedure and it was completely painless. I was blessed to have her perform procedure.

The interpreter behaved wonderfully, everything was fine

Angela's is just warm, compassionate and informed practitioner who asks and listens and explains well!

Ms. Hatcher has great bedside manner, and I enjoy her personality. However I initially was seeing Dr. McLemore for my acute intermittent porphyria. I guess I will be seeing Ms. Hatcher moving forward and not Dr. McLemore. I know my case is rare, but I would like for her to learn more about the disorder if she will be treating me and not Dr. McLemore. I can put her in touch with specialists or the United Porphyrias Association for more information and research to help. I spoke about my insomnia and she was not aware that this was a top symptom of this disorder. This was concerning. However I appreciated that she referred me to sleep medicine and hope to receive some help.

First encounter with Angela Hatcher. She had clearly prepared by reviewing my chart. Energetic / empathetic, offering clear explanations., especially re the introduction of erythropoietin. Closed OV by conferring with Dr. Papa and laying out a care plan through October.
