I think Dr. Anees Quyyumi is an outstanding physician. She Is very thorough, knowledgeable, explains things exceptionally well so that you can understand while providing additional resources about your condition. She also holds you accountable for your health. I know that health care providers' time Is limited and therefore must rely on tools to assist with formulating notes but often the AI tools being used do not get it right. Since I am a female, I prefer being referenced as "her" and not "his" as well as my name being represented properly in visit notes.

The doctor stood me up. It was a TeleHealth visit. The doctor did not show up.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 8/2/2024
The doctor was very rude, insulting and continued on bragging about how she did me a favor due to me being behind for doctor's appointment. I was fine with rescheduling if needed but I kept being told that I would still would be able to see the care provider, unfortunately, I had to walk out of my appointment due to the disrespect from the doctor.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/14/2024
Dr. Quyyumi was very detailed and thorough while reviewing my medical history. She was very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with her consultation. She explained everything in terms I understood and advised why she was discontinuing a particular medication. She also strongly suggested that I advocate for myself when seeing other specialists to ensure I would not be prescribed medication that could worsen my condition. She was also willing to look into some prior test results which are indirectly related to my condition.

Even though I told her I have cognitive impairment (interferes with understanding/answering questions), she was rude, impatient, and cut me off. She didn't want to explain anything let alone in detail. She acted more like a very strict school teacher than a medical professional. She gave a very bad first impression.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 4/26/2024
Dr. Q always answers my questions and go over everything and the reason why then leaves room for more questions if needed
