I received more information about my condition than I did from 3 doctors while in a cardiac ICU 4 months ago. He explained clearly why he came to the conclusions that he had, while educating me about my prognosis and possibilities for further evaluation. The choice was mine as to what I would do going forward and my decision was respected. I left feeling heard, cared about, informed and relieved.

My provider explained everything. Probably one of the best doctors I've ever had. He made sure I didn't have questions and took the time to talk to me. I was super nervous but between him and his nurse I'll come again.

The oncology cardiologist was very professional and patient while I explained to him through a translator my problem. He was very impressive as he told me about his education and qualification. He examines me with a lot of respect as I wear the hijab . I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Manduwat gave clear and concise explanations in regards to what his treatment recommendations for me would be.

He was gentle in recommending more exercise, yet he seemed to take for granted that my current treatment is a breeze. It's definitely not, and YES, it affects my ability to exercise as much and as regularly as I'd like. My body is also still recovering from 6 different treatment modalities it has endured in the past 14 months. I am exercising as much as my physical therapist recommends.

Dr Mandawat is an active listener. He explains things in layman's terms.

Dr. MANDAWAT has been a Godsend to me. He monitors both my heart and my myeloma-one-stop shopping. He doesn't replace my oncologist, but it's good to have someone who is knowledgeable about both working with you. Great doctor !!! As with previous visits with Dr Mandawat I was extremely pleased with his level of care and concern .

I was very lucky to have an empathetic staff person evaluate, question, and perform two electrocardiograms for me. She was kind, caring, empathetic, and professional, and made adaptations for me to stay in my wheelchair for each of her procedures. Empathy is a very rare quality in a human being. I felt grateful and lucky for her to take care of me.I received a call at home about availability for an earlier appointment that day at 1:00 pm instead of 3:00 pm. I live and travel alone using an electric wheelchair and using public transportation. Though an error with Marta's #6 Emory Clifton bus, I arrived just in time for the early bus. I arrived at Emory Clifton Oncology Winship Clinic at 12:45 pm. The staff was able to change my appointment from 3:00 pm to 1:00 pm. I cried because traveling alone is like running a marathon with a higher heart rate, higher blood pressure, and pain in my legs since I always have to keep them elevated at home.
