Ana is very good. This is why her services are in high demand. A year ago, I would have been the last person who would have thought acupuncture could help with a chronic Illness, so effectively. Ana is very attentive, very skilled, and compassionate. I have more understanding about acupuncture and how it is effective on helping me manage my chronic illness and the (often times) debilitating pain and stomach aliments that comes with it.

I try to refer her expertise to other people but they make appointments and the appointments are canceled for some unknown reason. I understand when Dr Anna has something that she has to do she has to take a day off, very expected. However there needs to be somebody to pick up the slack, to keep the ball rolling

I would definitely recommend Dr. Ana Villanueva without any hesitation. She's such an exceptional Acupuncturist! She cares about the well-being of her patients. Dr. Villanueva goes above and beyond her medical duties to help her patients. She has helped me with pain management tremendously. Acupuncture truly works!! It would be great to have more than one Accupuncturist at Emory; therefore, regular, consistent Acupuncture patients could have access to appointments when needed. Dr. Villanueva goes out of her way to help meand I'm so very thankful and oh so grateful for this wonderful doctor!!

The first appoinment had some communication about what was going on, but not a lot of information about why choosing where to put the needles and what would help what symptoms, etc. Since I have been to other Accupuncturists I was fine with that but in the end it did not seem to help. I would prefer clear communication in both directions to adjust process and make improvements

Dr. Villanueva is truly an angel here on earth. She not only has transformed my wellbeing through acupuncture, she has also done the same and more for the countless patients and friends I have referred to her. As an OBGYN at Emory, I have not had one person come back to me after seeing her say that they were anything but amazed at how much better they feel after even one session with her both physically and mentally. She is absolutely a Godsend and I hope Emory does not lose her. Please do everything in your power to keep this amazing provider. She deserves a raise and ALL the awards. I see how hard she works rearranging her schedule, coming in early and working through lunch to accommodate as many patients that she can. She truly cares for each and every patient. Please hire more acupuncturists so she can continue to provide the excellent care she does without burnout and so that you can expand this amazing service even more to our community and employees. If she leaves, this would be a tremendous loss for Emory.

Ana is fantastic! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I still have a ton of pain but I think this has helped me reduce the amount of pain pills needed . I have also seen where my body is healing after each treatment. My skin that was very dry is now full and my hair is growing back where it was falling out from the hormone use.
