I had seen another physician with a different healthcare provider and was not confident with the care. My experience with Dr. Ajay has exceed all expectations. I look forward with confidence to having him and his staff as part of my care team.

Dr. Premkumar is highly qualified to make decisions about my upcoming knee replacement and is referring me to a hematologist before we proceed. He carefully explained why he is doing this, I understand completely, and appreciate his care and concern.

Dr. Premkumar was pleasant, professional, shared more information than previous doctors seemed at the clinic. He was direct which I appreciated. However the one thing that disturbed me most was my records of previous testing as order by the NP had not been reviewed nor were they in my file. Why have me to take the time to go and get all the testing and no follow up on the results with me prior to my visit.The doctor and I reviewed the results on my IPhone. That in return made me feel that I was being treated as a second class patient and my medical history had not been reviewed prior to my visit. I appreciated Dr. Premkumar over all.

Dr. Premkumar is amazing. He does a wonderful job of individualizing the patient experience (remembering our conversations from a year ago, providing ample time for me to ask questions while keeping the appointment efficient).

This is my second total knee replacement with the same surgery. He remembered me and listened to my questions and answered them completely. He made me feel comfortable with going through with the surgery. He did a great job the first time, no complications. He even called me at home on a Sunday to check on me.

Dr Premkumar is one of the best doctors I have ever known. He is genuinely engaged and concerned with my process of healing. He did such an excellent job with my knee replacement that I hardly required any physical therapy for my knee after the operation. He is readily available to consult on any of my issues, and has called me a number of times after surgery to check on me. He's like an old fashioned doctor with state of the art skills. I feel very fortunate that I found him.

My post surgical mobility recovery has been greatly delayed; it's now been two years.. Dr. Premkumar and his staff have always paid attention to my situation and made what seem to me to be good recommendations. That said, and this is important, I am looking forward to be able to once again walk a normal distance in an upright position without limping and without pain. I look forward to Emory Healthcare's continued strong support in my quest to return to my pre-operative mobility.

Looked at some of his journal articles. Also found that other highly rated knee TKA surgeons use exact same Mako/Stryker method and parts

The new physician in residency Kyle (?) was excellent, very knowledgeable and thorough in her assessment and evaluation. Dr Premkumar has provided the highest standard of care you could possibly hope for in a physician. This is my second hip replacement by Dr Premkumar and I am now walking and sleeping without pain, with full hip mobility, and rapidly regaining strength and confidence. He has planned a treatment program for my knee issues and I feel fortunate to have such a competent and caring doctor.
