Dr Gundlappalli was impressive in so many ways. He is extensively trained and seems to be a real thinker. He is able to explain complex medical processes in easy to understand terms. And with all of that he was so very kind and empathetic. Anytime I shared some of my history he thanked me and told me how helpful it was. He expressed empathy for the medical challenges I have been enduring. And he genuinely seemed to care about me. Then he followed up with a detailed progress notes.

Other doctors are very good, however Dr G and his staff does it with so much compassion that makes you feel comfortable

Dr. Gundlapalli's genuine concern for my health and welfare is always refreshing. He is always so sincere in the ways he expresses his concern. I do not get the feelings of heartfelt concern from other doctors that I get from him. I suppose he will be gone soon like all the other immunologists that have left Emory. That would be a travesty because he is truly a knowledgeable, kind and caring doctor with an awesome bedside manner. He knows how to connect, he knows how to show concern, and he knows how to explain complex medical issues to make them understandable by the patient-me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the two physicians I currently see at Emory! In my opinion both are at the top of their field! As a retired educator, it is hard to find people with high intelligence who are also able to relate to people of average intelligence or below in such a personable manner as my two physician's. Emory is EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to have these two on their team!

Mariah sees many doctors and Dr Gundapalli is one of the best! Wow! He is friendly and listens to your concerns. Left the office feeling confident he heard my concerns and is working toward a solution.

I saw succession of allergist who were equally as nice but, an immunologists is the preferred provider for antibody deficient patients and their diseases.
