I would like to have a better understanding of what my diagnosis means. Other than my heart skips a beat in upper and lower chambers. Is this not unusual for someone my age? Is walking going to help to build up the muscle to help this ? The patient doesn't always know what to ask to get a better understanding because we are not a medical person.

The last time I was there I explained that I was preparing for a mastectomy. At this appointment when I asked about whether he had concerns about my upcoming surgery given the results of the test, he acted like he didn't know anything about it. He did take my concerns about other symptoms seriously though.

2 minute exam in chair. Not even on exam table. 4 derp breathes and that was it.I said the visit was short and asked question. Did not like my questioning him about my health and the time he spent. Gave wrong info on summary. Dr Olatidoye never checked anything else, but claimed I didn't have edema how does he know he did look at my ankles or legs only listened to my heart. Very unnprofrsdional

The doctor walked in saying "your blood pressure looks good." He listened to my heart and quickly checked my ankles and said there is no swelling. He then said he was going to schedule an echo before next appt. Honestly, I felt like my appointment was like a pause in his schedule not a health care visit so I asked him "Is that all?" He did not ask me one question about my health issues since last visit. Yet if you look at the after visit summary it lists 6 "issues" addressed. That it not true and I was shocked to see it in that report. Did he expect me to read it? Instead of actually discussing those 6 issues he was quick to recommend I see another Cardiologist on my next visit. As a patient and from a professional perspective, I know good customer service when I experience it and when I see it. The service I received on February 10th was poor. With all due respect, I expect better service from an Emory health care provider.
