About the Provider
Before coming to Emory in 2004, Dr. Roser was the director of graduate medical education at New York-Presbyterian Hospital as well as director of the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery and associate dean for hospital affairs at the School of Dental and Oral Surgery of Columbia University.
Dr. Roser specializes in palate and maxillofacial surgery. In 2009, he was the first oral surgeon in Atlanta to use virtual surgery planning for free flap reconstruction following ablative surgery for oral cavity cancer.
Dr. Roser has an extensive history of international service that includes being a team leader for the Missions Abroad Program of Healing the Children-Northeast every year since 1992. In this role, he takes surgical teams to countries in Central and South America to provide such services as cleft lip and cleft palate repair. In 2017, he began participating in the Emory Haiti Alliance's summer surgical trips to Haiti's central plateau, the poorest and most medically underserved region in the country — Dr. Roser's first trip to Haiti was in 2010 in the first wave of medical responders following that year's devastating earthquake.
He has received numerous awards recognizing his efforts as an international surgeon, including the Distinguished Service Award of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2019, the Humanitarian Award of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2011, a Presidential Citation for Humanitarian Efforts in Ecuador in 2005, and the American Dental Association's Oversees Volunteer Award in 2003.

If there was a category for "excellent!", then this is the one I would've chosen.I am continually impressed by Dr. Roser. His willingness to provide top-notch care for our special needs population speaks for itself - but the fact that he does everything with such excellence and deep compassion is outstanding. Never have I met a surgeon so on point with his purpose and passion combined. It is clear his work is about Improving life for others, giving second chances, and being a blessing in every direction possible. EXCELLENT!

Dr. Rosner and Dr. T can use my underbite as an experience to show his new patients they came to the perfect place and that the surgery will be done perfectly and worth everything that you have to go through. On the down low I don't even need to be out of work for a month but I'm going to enjoy my month

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Roser and Dr. Lantz. Together they made me feel confident with my results so far, Dr. Lantz went out of her way to provide me copies of my before and after x-rays, and Dr. Roser answered a list of questions I prepared for him with very helpful feedback.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/29/2025
Dr, Roser was polite, and asked how he could help me. He did a cone CT to see if there was any infection. I had ongoing pain for 6 months before my appointment due to root canal infections even after extractions, and was thinking the worst case and horrible things that could happen like loosing all my teeth, and jaw tissue leading to deformity. I had so much anxiety. Dr. Roser listened, and was understanding. I was so happy to see that he didn't see anything on the CT. I left on a good note. I was pleased that he did the test for me that eased my mind. I felt comfortable with him. I would come back again to see him if I had to.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/27/2025
Dr Roser is the best
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/26/2025
Dr. ROSER saved my jawline and face , I'm so grateful
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/25/2025
Roser came in with 2 orthodontist shadows. I felt like it was more a explanation for them then checking in with me, which is fine. He did say he would check the X-ray but then he never came back and Dr. Anthony came instead. Overall, my concerns were not addressed and it was frustrating because Roser is the one who knows my case.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/25/2025
Dr. Roser was incredibly helpful, informative and patient with my many questions!
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/25/2025
I very highly recommend Dr. Roser, but now I've had two horrible experiences in regards to waiting and I'm not sure that I would recommend this clinic. I'd warn someone of the amount of time they will spend waiting.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/23/2025

- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/2/2025
I'm comfortable with this doctor and clinic. But I wouldn't recommend this provider tp others if they have to wait 6-12 months just to get seen!
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 4/15/2025
Dr. Rosner bedside manner are great . And his team have been exceptional. Now that I've had some time to reflect on the procedure, I do have my fears and a few questions. Given the complexity of the process, I trust them to continue their excellent work.

Dr Roser is truly a top notch doctor. Through the years I've come to the clinic I never doubted I was receiving the best care possible. He is kind and compassionate and truly has his patients best interests at heart. The treatment plan for the next step in the process was explained in detail and has prepared me for what to expect, which eased my fears a great deal.

I'd recommend Dr Roser with the hesitations being the phone calls, scheduling visits and scheduling the surgery the wait time. These things are always bad. Terrible. And I've worked in healthcare for 25 years. My son's surgery date had been moved and nobody called me. Just stuff like that. But your clinic staff is great.
