Dr. Crochet was very thorough during my visit. She reviewed my records in advance and also took the time to hear my history directly from me. I truly appreciated that she listened carefully and did not rush through such an important appointment. Her bedside manner helped ease the anxiety I had coming into the visit. Dr. Crochet ordered additional tests to better assess my situation, and I look forward to our next appointment.

Dr. Crochet listened and advocated for me and hooked me up to a machine to make sure baby was doing well without having to go in to labor and delivery which would have been the alternative. This was really helpful for me.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 1/25/2026
Dr Crochet used technical terms for progesterone and I had to explain what she meant then she continued to used the technical medical term throughout our session. She made me feel like I did something bad by scheduling with her rather than Dr. Smith but I had to explain I had tried to get an appointment with Dr. Smith the scheduling people put me with her. Dr Crochet was not very kind with my health concerns and made me feel like it was my fault for having these issues

This was probably the worst visit I have had with OB since I got pregnant. I had never had this doctor before and will hope to not in the future. She made a lot of comments on my weight calling it "substantial" since my last visit. 1-2lbs is normal at end of 2nd into 3rd trimester and I gained 7 in 4 weeks. Instead of asking about my diet and physical activity she basically just assumed the weight gain was due to me not eating right and be sedentary which is not even close. I eat right and walk an hour each day getting 10,000 steps a day. Some pregnant people are just different and don't match perfectly with charts about pregnancy weight gain. I left feeling awful and scared that I had gestational diabetes even before the blood test (I didn't) because of the accusatory tone this doctor had. No pregnant person should feel like they are doing all the wrong things especially when they are not. I was more upset that this doctor might use this same tone with someone who has an unhealthy relationship with food. She said I should gain no more weight the next 14 weeks and that I should go on the gestational diabetes diet (which is basically what I eat like everyday) and informed me I might even lose a few lbs which in my opinion should not be my main concern. Again I am more concern for others who might have been talked to this way who end up not eating enough food based on this doctors lack of bed side manners. My husband even chimed in because he did not like her tone and he informed her I am eating well and still exercising.

Dr Crochet was so good at making me feel heard and adjusting my care to align with my hopes for the birth process.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/18/2025
Felt rushed, lack of connection or feeling like a cared for patient. Provider used the phrase "well the baby is still alive" after asking about use of a medication. I felt like I was a burden with my questions. I didn't like this experience.

Very thorough. She remembers well my concerns and very good listener.

Dr. Crochet is a wonderful doctor, very thorough and caring

Just felt like a rushed service, would have rather seen dr.hall or dr.woods. Also I refused the flu shot due to not wanting to get sick before delivery and was told again I should get the shot. I also don't feel like she took my concern of bleeding heavily during delivery very serious either, I had a 2 or 3rd degree tear with my first daughter, my doctor then said I bled more than she would have liked and during that pregnancy I wasnt low on hemoglobin so being pretty low this time is a major concern for me.

She seemed rushed during the appointment. Also when I was leaving, she was just sitting and gossiping with another provider. It wasn't like she was in a rush to see another patient.

The Doctor & her assistant both listened!! That is so amazing!! We discussed what we would do, the possible outcomes from the lab work -best case & worst case& what the next steps could be. My primary care doctor even has a letter telling her what Emory did, the tests & what the Emory doctor suspects! Wow; Emory is amazing!!! World Class!

Dr Crochet has been my gyn for 7 years and is always proactive in addressing my health needs, offering clear options for treatment and listening to my goals. Her approach really emphasizes that women don't have to be incapacitated by gyn issues, and I so appreciate it!

Love Dr Crochet! I've seen her for years and always enjoy the visit. The only time I haven't seen her, I went to Emory Decatur for my pregnancy since I'd be delivering there and wanted to have met the doctors ahead of time.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/27/2025
Felt very rushed. Provider seemed standoffish and didn't really explain what was happening or why. I feel like I have way more questions coming out of the appointment than going in.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/26/2025
Was very patient with me & listened intently! Talked through all my options with me which I appreciated. I also appreciated the mask-wearing!

Dr. Crochet was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/16/2025
Dr. Crochet was very attentive, and thorough, as usual. She showed compassion and concern, as I was having a bad day regarding losing my mother recently. We talked about what had happened--she could sense how emotional I was and offered suggestions as how to manage going forward. She then toffered to give me a hug which I welcomed, as I really needed one! Losing my mother has affected my overall health, and I am glad she had the intuition to address not only the reason I was there (for a routine Pap smear), but my state of well being also--it all goes hand in hand. Dr. Crochet is an excellent doctor, and is truly as asset to Emory--clone her, please!

I am in the midst if cancer treatment and this was my first visit. Dr Crochet knew about my recent and oar medical issues before seeing me. She helped me understand some next steps and questions/topics to ask about with my next phase of treatment. Encouraged me to reach out with questions and was amazing.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 1/28/2025
Dr. Crochet began the visit with her back to me while she looked at her computer and told me that I should have made an appointment with a doctor in a different specialty. Next came a very painful internal exam. After the exam, Dr. Crochet was much kinder and more compassionate. If she had acted that way throughout the visit, I would be more likely to recommend her to others.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 1/18/2025
I really appreciate Dr. Crochet's expertise, thoroughness, and kindness. She is a tremendous asset to Emory.

Gosh, Dr Crochet is one of the most attentive and compassionate doctors I've ever had. When I raised a concern, she took the time to dig into it and find out what could be happening, recommended a solution, then even came back several times to check on me and address a very difficult reaction I had to a procedure. She is just the best doctor I've ever had.
