Halkar, MD, has clinical expertise in thyroid cancer and neuroendocrine tumor management. Dr. Halkar’s area of research interest is imaging and therapy with radio-labeled folate. He serves as the Director of Nuclear Radiology at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Halkar serves on the board of directors of the Intersocietal Accreditation Committee and as a grant reviewer for Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health study sections.
