Lisa was very patient with me as I talked, even though I sensed that I may have had a few TMI moments. It is sometimes difficult for me to maintain a sequence of events accurately and I get wordy. All I can say is that she was patient, a good listener and kind.

The PA was very engaging. She thoroughly examined me and determined the cause of my nosebleeds, and explained the treatment in home care to remedy or reduce reoccurrence. She also found the problem with my eardrum during her examination and immediately got me in to see the ear specialist.

I was in shock from the diagnosis of "mass" and I left too soon. I wish me/PA could have recognized my shock/lack of questions and given me a min to process and ask questions before leaving so soon.

She sometimes interrupted and became defensive when I reacted to a list of symptoms with some anecdote about my personal experience. Perhaps she was just rushed but I work at the CDC and feel confident playing a part in my own care.
