The doctor was very thorough.

It seemed as if care provider did not review nurse questions/answers or current medications. She gave new verbal instructions, including increased dosage, for incorrect medication.

Dr. Godette, in my view, has been exceptional!

We are basically Illiterate about the human body, it would have been very helpful if the staff showed a short 1 minute video ( or sent one prior to visit), pictures, diagrams, physical displays, like they use in classrooms, anything we could see with our own eyes. Instead of leaving everything to our imaginations with just talk. I pretty much felt confused about what was going on and treatment, to the messages they send on MyChart. Again, if they don't have time in the office, send it through MyChart.

Every time I go to Emory, I am impressed by the knowledge, thoughtfulness, & thoroughness of the staff & doctors...Be it while I was hospitalized last year or now dealing with this prostate issue, I have to say that whatever training & professionalism that you go through...it really shows! Very appreciative of you guys...

First in-person visit, glad she reviewed my history in detail. Can't determine if radiation is needed until after treatments done and surgery to see if the chemo got all the cancer. But good she knows my history and treatment plan.

NP Kamm provided the patient a list of things he must do. She clearly explained potential health issues to watch for and guidance as to what action to take in the event an issue was present. Patient and spouse were thus able to have a clear understanding of the things that must be done in order to enhance his healing.

Dr. Godette's review and discussion of my options was extremely thorough and much appreciated.
