Dr Jane Meisel is a joy with whom to work, even in the difficult circumstance of my cancer diagnosis. She is of course exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. That said, she is clearly, obviously, genuinely, deeply interested in my health and welfare, and provides complex, sometimes difficult, advice and guidance in a most compassionate and understandable manner. Her manner is superb - she inspires complete trust and confidence. It is difficult for me to express how fortunate I feel to have connected with her as my oncological advisor, and I deeply appreciate the relationship we have cultivated.

I have hit what seemed like insurmountable medical or procedural mountains and my dear Dr Meisel makes them vanish, quickly and quietly. She is extremely compassionate, highly professional, yet so caring and understanding. She uses everything that she can to get the best care for the patient. I have a long journey ahead. As stated before, Dr. Meisel is the absolute best doctor I have ever known. She's wonderful & to have that recognition in the oncology field AND to be as well admired by other staff, doctors, & patients, that says everything anyone needs to know about her. To have a doctor who is extremely detail oriented &/or who gives personalized treatment are extremely rare separately. However, Dr. Meisel has both of these attributes - that should make Emory proud to employ her.(It's hard to write in pain but u all get my point I hope)

Dr Jane Meisel is the best doctor I've ever been treated by. I feel so lucky to have found her. She knows or finds out the answers.

Dr Wood, a fellow, came in to do the initial consultation and exam accompanied by Shrute, DNP candidate. She was very detailed and did an excellent job clarifying the details of my situation. Then Dr Meisel came in, asked more questions, performed an examination and discussed my case. I felt very relieved and reassured that I was in excellent hands the entire time. I'm also grateful to have a plan for my follow up care.

I honestly don't know where I'd be without the excellent care I receive from Dr. Meisel. She is everything you would want from a healthcare provider when dealing with a serious diagnosis.
