Dr. Schirmer has been consistently kind, clear, respectful, and professional through out our whole journey and this appt was no different. This was our embryo transfer so a big deal to us and we went in with full confidence in Dr. Schirmer and really felt supported by him. One of the best doctors I have ever had, across all specialties.

Dr. Schirmer is the best! He explains everything very thoroughly and is so knowledgeable about his field. He always answers questions in a timely manner. He is kind, compassionate and patient. I wish every doctor was as good as he is.

Excellent first appointment

Dr. Schirmer is a very thorough provider when it comes to explaining all of the tests and options. However, he does move very quickly, which often leaves little space for the patients to process and also be able to discuss their values in order to be a team in decision making. He does ask if there are questions and answers them thoroughly which I highly value. But I'm struggling to feel like my values have been heard or considered in this process so far.

I have to ask for feedback on every IVF outcome. If I do not ask, then I will never hear back from my care team.

Was extremely attentive to detail. He Took his time to explain, very thorough with his treatment plan and showed empathy as well. It felt good to finally feel heard and not like a number to a physician.

I waited a bit longer than I would have preferred for the appointment to prioritize being seen by Dr. Schirmer. While I don't have other experiences with other providers at the clinic, I trusted my care with Dr. Schirmer. Appreciated all the time he took with me, his explanations, and understanding of my situation.

Dr Schirmer has excellent communication skills and show compassion and understanding when communicating with patients and families.
