I would recommend Dr. Collins to anyone. I so wish I had started seeing her from the onset of my introduction to being female. She is easy to understand, explains fully, lets me be a part of my healthcare plan, and is just an enjoyable person to be around. She is knowledgeable and does not forget any tasks such as ordering rx, test, or referrals. I am a challenge due to other health issues, but she works those into the health plan. I was shocked with amazement when I learned she knew about ALL of my rare diseases and did not roll her eyes In disbelief, as I have actually had to happen with others. Again, so wish I had seen her earlier and she was the doctor that performed all of the surgeries I have had in my life. Thanks Dr Collins! If I had ever needed to have a OB you would have been my choice. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Collins.

It is a rare thing these days to feel cared about, seen/heard, and respected by every person you come in contact with, but Dr. Collins and her staff go above and beyond to make sure each patient feels that way. It's remarkable.

She clearly cares genuinely about her patients and always takes the time to check in about overall health and safety beyond the primary purpose of the visit. She listens actively and never makes patients feel rushed, addressing any health concerns thoughtfully and with empathy. She's the sort of doctor everyone hopes to find, and I am beyond thankful for such respectful, affirming, and skilled medical care. Dr. Collins is the absolute best: the gold standard! She's empathetic, a great listener, makes me feel heard, seen and valued.

Dr. Collins is the only OB-GYN I have found in Georgia who offers trauma-informed care and I only found her because a resident in another clinic told me she did. It's very difficult to find information and I wish everyone knew what it was. Most staff (including doctors in the fertility clinic) don't seem to know or don't believe it's important.I was shaking at the appointment because my last visit with an OB-GYN six years ago went so badly. But Dr. Collins listened and gave me options I didn't know I had.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a doctor of any kind. She was incredibly sympathetic and knowledgeable, explained everything to me, genuinely took the time to get to know my needs, was not dismissive of me at all and did not try to suggest that my wants were invalid, etc. I felt very at ease with her and the doctor visiting with her (I cannot remember her name but she was a student/in practicum I believe).

I feel like I got so lucky getting in with Dr. Collins and will now always try to make my appointments with her. I've never had a better experience with a doctor. She provided tremendous comfort and care, it felt like I had been seeing her for years.

Dr. Collins is the best physician - not just gynecologist, but best PHYSICIAN - I have ever interacted with in terms of respecting and affirming me as a patient. I have had very few positive experiences with healthcare providers but I left Dr. Collins' office smiling. I cannot overstate the impact this has had on me in caring for my own health and feeling confident going to the doctor. I wish she could teach others how to respect and affirm patients the way she does.
