Dr. Mitchell is wonderful. He took the time to perform orthostatic blood pressure measurements to rule out any concerns I had. He is also very responsive and replies quickly to messages on MyChart.

Dr. Mitchell is easy to talk with, has a good sense of humor while showin concern for my problem and a true desire to help.

Even though we had a very difficult discussion about choices I need to make, he was very thorough and patient with my indecision and persistence. He showed me lab films and went over his reasons why he did not recommend further action unless I have further symptoms.

I was there for Dr Mitchell to evaluate me for a Watchman, as a second opinion. It was all a good experience. Admittedly it would had been good if we could have done a teleconference call, since we lived 2 hrs away but I understood the need for Dr Mitchell to meet me in person.

I wrote out a whole page of questions and concerns. The doctor patiently listened to and addressed each one. He was reassuring and helpful. When I said I wanted to stop taking a certain medication, rather than fuss at me, he offered an alternate med that could be better that another doctor had not offered. I felt relieved of some worries I had about my condition.

Dr. Adam M. Is fantastic!!! I often tell people that he "saved my life" when my heart mitral valve burst. He was and still is extremely modest about it, but I wouldn't still be here if he hadn't taken action and insisted that he hospital put me in Intensive Care, where I stayed for a month.

The doctor gave a fast response by phone to urgent need a couple weeks prior to appointment. He gave brief description of condition and treatment. During this in-person visit today, Dr. Mitchell's detailed explanation with an illustration on his laptop really helped me better understand my condition. I often arrive with a list of questions. I like that the first thing Dr. Mitchell did was ask if I had any questions. I felt comfortable talking with him and he is caring and professional.

Dr. Chiedo-Eyre And Dr. Mitchell were both fabulous. Dr. Chiedo-Eyre (resident) spoke with me prior to Dr. Mitchell. She was extremely professional and very thorough as she asked and answered questions. Emory Is lucky to have her as a resident. Dr. Mitchell was also terrific. He was friendly, down to earth and explained everything in clear understandable layman's language. He made eye contact when he spoke, listened and responded to my questions. I really felt not just heard, but listened to.
